Galettes: One of My Favorite Things.

I absolutely love baking during the holidays (and just about any other time of year). There's just something special about donning a holiday apron and making delicious treats that you know you're going to eat way to many, and end up giving the rest away instead of using your self control :)

Oh Christmas Tree!

Last weekend the parents and I decided we should finally get around to finding the family Christmas tree. So, we bundled up and ventured out to one of the nurseries nearby that I used to frequent as a little kid to find ourselves a tree.

Not So Sinful Pumpkin Bars

Despite the snow thats currently falling out side, it is still technically fall. Doesn't look (or feel) like it, I know. But I figured what better way to keep everyone in the fall spirit, than with a tasty pumpkin recipe?

Pasta Primavera

Today was my second day off this week. And I suppose I should own up to the fact that it was not nearly as productive as my day off earlier.

Oh well- you can't win them all, right?
