Changes in Latitude...

I've been noticably absent from Indy for the past few months. It started out innocently enough- a trip to South Carolina here, Vegas there. South Carolina again... and wouldn't you know it I fell in love with the South.

Since I've been gone...

Holy cow. So, disregarding the Shoefly snap from a few weeks ago (which was written back in May- I won't lie- it just finally made it to the internet this month), I have been quite invisible for the better half of this year.

And for that, I truly apologize.

Shoefly, don't bother me.

Saturday afternoon while I was sitting in the kitchen writhing in pain from the run I just went on (I blame my mother for that), I got a call from one of my oldest friends asking if I was up for a culinary adventure downtown.

So, life is still in full swing of craziness, but I am on the home stretch! Work at the center has been busier than ever, and thank goodness the hospital has been very forgiving with me because of it.

Galettes: One of My Favorite Things.

I absolutely love baking during the holidays (and just about any other time of year). There's just something special about donning a holiday apron and making delicious treats that you know you're going to eat way to many, and end up giving the rest away instead of using your self control :)

Oh Christmas Tree!

Last weekend the parents and I decided we should finally get around to finding the family Christmas tree. So, we bundled up and ventured out to one of the nurseries nearby that I used to frequent as a little kid to find ourselves a tree.
